What we collect

  • Enquiry forms. Your name, work email, company, and anything else you choose to give us, such as your phone number, current provider, document volumes and message.
  • Uploaded invoices and quotes. If you choose to attach one, the file and whatever it contains. That may include pricing, account details and the names of people at your organisation or your provider.
  • Technical information. Your IP address and basic request details, used to deliver the site and stop automated abuse. If analytics is enabled, anonymous usage statistics.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare and verify a price under our offer, and follow up about DocGen. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use anything you send us to train AI models. We'll only send you marketing email if you ask for it, and you can opt out at any time.

Where it's stored

Enquiry details and any file you attach are sent securely to the DocGen team. Only the DocGen team can access them.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to run this website, protect our forms from spam and deliver enquiries to our team. They only handle your information to provide those services to us. Some of them may store or process it outside Australia.

How long we keep it

Attached invoices and quotes are kept only as long as we need them to prepare and verify your price, unless you become a customer and ask us to keep them. Enquiry details are kept while we're in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your enquiry and any file you sent. Email [email protected]. If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
